[edit] Author vs. authors

I must confess: I don't yet own the book (the fact that it is back in print this month is a great opportunity), but Amazon has it as a collaborative effort. I take it, by the changes made, that Talon is the sole author? --LeyteWolfer 06:23, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

Amazon often does that (I've seen them lump in artists, editors and the person who wrote the forward as authors). I don't have the book (but will be buying it soon) but the review is clear. The book is written by Talon - each chapter is focused on a different artist and includes an interview and then a breakdown and analysis of some sample pages by Talon. The publisher and review both list Talon as the sole author. (Emperor 12:12, 18 July 2007 (UTC))
Understood. I'll need to go back into each article of those previously-listed authors and remove that credit. then. -LeyteWolfer 16:47, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
I moved the Mignola one to references Mike Mignola#References as it should provide a useful source for material about their techniques. (Emperor 16:54, 18 July 2007 (UTC))

[edit] Unreferenced?

Why is there an "unreferenced" tag on this article? Since it is a brief summary on an existing book -not even a real synopsis- isn't the book itself the reference? -Wilfredo Martinez 14:09, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Paneld LRG.jpg

Image:Paneld LRG.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
