[edit] Confiscated Pandurs

"It has been reported that in January 2006 a Saint Kitts & Nevis flagged cargo ship loaded with 15 Pandurs as well as 85 other vehicles, and parts meant for the United Nations Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo was seized while in port within Equatorial Guinea. It is believed that the seized vehicles and parts have been used to equip the Military of Equatorial Guinea. [1]"

These vehicles were on temporary loan from Belgium to Benin for its peace keeping mission in the DRC and were confiscated by Equatorial Guinea only for a very short time! The 15 Pandurs have since been returned to Belgium, so I removed this piece of text from the main page. dendirrek (talk) 13:55, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
