[edit] Moved

I moved this page to Wei-Lun Pan because Pan is his last name.--Jerrypp772000 02:12, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

It doesn't really matter whether the "family name" of a person should always go last or first; for example, Chiang Kai-shek's name is in the order of "family name - given name" as oppose to "given name - family name", so it is not necessary to follow the Western style when writing an Eastern name.--Kc0616 23:36, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

You might want to consult the page of Wikipedia:Naming conventions (Chinese) for naming convention, it appears that many of our fellow countrymen do not read the policy at all (I admit that I am one of them).Kc0616 23:44, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, but there are more and more Taiwanese baseball players such as Chien-Ming Wang that have their last name shown last. And I'd put it in the parenthesis too.--Jerrypp772000 19:41, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
