Panzer Bandit

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Panzer Bandit is a PlayStation game, developed by Fill-In Cafe and released by Banpresto in 1997.

The game is a side-scrolling beat-em up, remarkably similar to Sega and Treasure's 1996 release Guardian Heroes. However, there are only two planes of movement, and a robot partner replaces the ghoulish Undead Warrior from Guardian Heroes. An overheat meter governs the use of this android sidekick... rely on it too often and the overheat meter fills, forcing you to wait for it to empty with time.

The characters are all sprite-based, while most of the backgrounds are polygon-based. There are four characters to choose from each with their own techniques and weapons, including everything from robot armor to giant shotguns. The game has a wide array of enemies. Almost all of the dialogue is voice acted.
