Pants Yell! is an indie pop band from Boston, Massachusetts. They released their third album Recent Drama on Asaurus Records in 2006. That same year, original drummer Carly Smith was replaced by Casey Keenan. According to lead singer Andrew Churchman they follow more in the steps of The Smiths and Postcard Records than Tullycraft, creating spirited music which inspires melancholy rather than lightness or memories of past girlfriends. In December 2007 the trio released their fourth album Alison Statton, which features a horn section, female backing vocals and feedback.
