Pannaikadu is a panchayat town in Dindigul district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

As of 2001 India census[1], Pannaikadu had a population of 9396. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Pannaikadu has an average literacy rate of 74%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; male literacy is 80%, and female literacy is 67%. In Pannaikadu, 9% of the population is under 6 years of age.The main occupation here is agriculture of crops like coffee and bananas. The climate changes in the past decade have led to a fall in agriculture in and around nearby areas. The people have started migrating to nearby towns to find work.
