Panio Gianopoulos (born 1975) is an upcoming writer and editor for Bloomsbury Publishing. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, he has written both fiction and non-fiction and has been in the publishing field for nine years.
Gianopoulos' work has appeared in various magazines and newspapers, including Details, Glamour, Tin House, Nerve, Everyday with Rachael Ray, The Hartford Courant, The Journal News, Northwest Review, and The Brooklyn Rail. His writing has been included in the anthologies The Bastard on the Couch, Cooking and Stealing: The Tin House Non-Fiction Reader, and "The Encyclopedia of Exes".
He is the recipient of a 2003 New York Foundation for the Arts fellowship in non-fiction literature.
After dating actress Molly Ringwald for several years, they were married in Italy in the summer of 2007. He and Ringwald live in New York City with their daughter, Mathilda Ereni (born October 22, 2003).
