Panic Park is a two player arcade game created by Namco. The game is unique because the two players use levers to move their on-screen avatars that are on the same row. Thus, players may (and sometimes must) physically push against their opponent.
Each game consists of five rounds of minigames, usually with the objective to either collect something while avoiding something else, or to stay on a platform without falling off.
The game also includes a 'Panic King' mode. This is a single-player only game, whereby the player attempts to beat the high score in a particular minigame. If you succeed, you become the 'Panic King' and your name is displayed during the attract mode sequence, and future 'Panic King' players must then try to beat your score. At the end of the month, the score is reset, and your name is recorded as that month's 'Panic King' for the next 12 months.
English versions of the arcade machine also contained an amusing example of Engrish. The safety warning on the side of the cabinet advises people not to play if they are 'reeking of alcohol'.
