Paniala

Paniala, a small town located in the vicinity of Dera Ismail Khan District (North-West Frontier Province), Pakistan.

Amongst the inhabitants of Paniala, Marwats constitute the bulk of the population. There are also a small number of Seraikis, and members of a tribe unique to this area only known as the Brhach’s, though most of them are now absorbed into the Marwats.

The main tribe is the Marwat, subtribes in the town include: Siraj Khel, Masti Khel, Qalander Khel, and Sharqi Khel.
