Scandal in Sorrento or Pane, amore e... is a 1955 Italian comedy film directed by Dino Risi. This is the third film of the trilogy, foremed by Bread, Love and Dreams in 1953, Bread, Love and Jealousy in 1954 .First and only one directed by Dino Risi, and starred by Sophia Loren and not by Gina Lollobrigida. Another news were that it was filmed in colour and in Sorrento, not the previous village.

Marshall Antonio Carotenuto arrives back in his home town of Sorrento to take care of the local fire brigade. Sofia, an attractive fishmonger, almost accepts marriage to Antonio almost as a joke to make Nicolino, a traffic policeman who she is genuinely in love with jealous.
