Panama Viejo F.C. was a panamanian football team founded in 1978 and based on Panama Viejo, Panama. The team participated in the ANAPROF were it obtained only one title in the 2000-01 season. They were able to beat in the final Tauro F.C. in what is remembered by many as one of the best ANAPROF finals in the history of the tournament; the game ended 4-3 after extra time when Tauro F.C. manage to shortened Panama Viejo's 3-0 advantage early in the game.
Part of that ANAPROF 2000-01 champion team include Panamanian internationals: Anel Canales, Victor Herrera, Blas Perez, Juan de Dios Perez, Oscar McFarlane and Ricardo Phillips and former Panama National U-20 football team manager Gary Stempel.
Unfortunately for the cangrejeros in 2001 they suffered financial problems and it was forced to merged with Tauro F.C., therefore it ceased to exist.
