Panagiotis Vasilopoulos (born February 8, 1984, in Maroussi, Athens) is a Greek professional basketball player. He measures 202 cm (6'7 1/2") tall. He is a small forward but he can also play as a power forward.

He began his pro career in 2001 with PAOK BC of the Greek League. Vasilopoulos was then brought into Olympiacos BC in 2005 by George Garbolas, who believed in his abilities, and that he could help the team to win titles thus signing a two-year contract. On May 20, 2008 he extended his contract for another 4 years with Olympiacos for US$ 8,2 million.[1]

Vailopoluos played with Greek junior team at the 2004 FIBA Europe Under-20 European Championship and also at the 2005 FIBA Under-21 World Championship. With the junior team he also won the bronze medal at both the 2002 FIBA Europe Under-18 European Championship and at the 2003 FIBA Under-19 World Championship.
Vasilopoulos was a member of the senior Greek National Basketball Team that won the gold medal at the 2005 European Championship and the silver medal at the 2006 FIBA World Championship. He also competed with Greece at the 2007 European Championship.
