PAMSA is an acronym for the Pan American Medical Students' Association, a student association that represents medical students in the Americas. It's one of the five regional branches of the International Federation of Medical Sudents' Associations (IFMSA), created after the merging of the North American region with the former Caribbean and Latin American Medical Student Association (CLAMSA).
In 2007 the Pan American Medical Students' Association represented 18 countries from North, Central, South America and the Caribbean and 22 National Member Organizations (NMOs).
