[edit] Doesn't look like the Pantheon to me.

This is a great photo but it doesn't look like the Pantheon to me. The Pantheon is especially known as a quietly lit place, while this one has tons of light. The Romans who built the Pantheon didn't have glass windows to allow the light inside. The Pantheon I've experienced has no steps on the inside anywhere and bench seating all around the place too (Rome will wear you out). Take a look at these other images of the Pantheon. Maybe someone who knows art can identify this basilica with the huge murals on the walls. It, like the Pantheon, is a beautiful place, accessible by a $1 bus ride.

[edit] Long Exposure?

Could be that the camera was timed for a 0.5-2 second exposure. Look at the light from the rooftop, not too much definition in the well lit areas, characteristic of a long exposure.

Don't know about the rest of the questions

[edit] pantheon

I am new to Wikipedia, so i don't know if i'm doing this right. The picture shows the interior of the 18th century Pantheon in Paris; first a catholic church, later a mausoleum for great Frenchman. See Google. Vincent Steenberg 19:18 CET 5 Nov. 2006 Amsterdam
