This image can only give a hint of the beauty of the Northern Areas of Pakistan. Rakaposhi (7,788 metres) on the right and the pyramid-shaped Diran peak (7,257 metres) on the left, as seen from a point before entering Taghafari (Tagafari, Rakaposhi's base camp, as approached from Hunza).

The panorama was stitched from eight images (two rows of four images each). Original images taken between 1417hrs and 1420hrs, August 5, 2002
