Pamela Silver

Pamela Silver is a Professor in the Department of Systems Biology at Harvard Medical School. She is the first Director of the Harvard University PhD Program in Systems Biology. Previously she has held academic appointments at Princeton University and The Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

She has made important contributions in the areas of cell biology. cancer and genome organization. She is also involved in the emerging field of Synthetic Biology. She has been recognized with a Presidential Young Investigator Award, an Established Investigator Award from the American Heart Association, the NIH Director's Lecture and an NIH MERIT Award. She serves on numerous Editorial Boards and both public and private Scientific Advisory Boards
