Pambadum Shola National Park

Pambadum Shola National Park is a 1.32 km² (0.5 sq mi) Protected area declared in 2003. It is situated at 10°09′N, 77°07′E near Marayoor village in Devikulam taluk, Idukki District, Kerala state, South India. The park ajoins Kurinjimala Sanctuary. [1] Altitude ranges from 1,886 meters (6,188 ft) to 2,531 meters (8,304 ft). The park is administered by the Kerala Department of Forests and Wildlife, Munnar Wildlife Division, together with the nearby Mathikettan Shola National Park, Eravikulam National Park, Anamudi Shola National Park, Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary and the Kurinjimala Sanctuary.[2] The Western Ghats, Anamalai Sub-Cluster, including these parks, is under consideration by the UNESCO World Heritage Committee for selection as a World Heritage Site.[3]
