The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig (abbreviation: PLP; English: University of the City of Pasig) is a public university run by the Pasig City local government in the Philippines. Conceived by former Mayor Vicente C. Eusebio, PLP is envisioned to be a state university that is committed to excellence in college education. On March 9, 2000, the Commission on Higher Education granted authority to PLP to offer tertiary courses within its mandate. The PLP officially opened on June 14, 2000 with six (6) initial degree coursesinitially with Bachelor in Secondary Education, Bachelor of Elementary Education, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.
