[edit] adding Categories
I'm glad to see that somebody else is working on this, but I have a favor to ask. Could you place them in some sort of order rather than just tacking onto the end? Alphabetical is good, or at least alphabetizing the fictional categories. Thanks! CovenantD 03:53, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] How to write a good article
If you haven't already, check out Wikipedia:WikiProject_Comics/exemplars for guidelines on writing articles on comics. Loads of good stuff. CovenantD 02:45, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Digimon and categories
We do not normally categorize Digimon articles in "fictional X" categories. Circeus 02:58, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
- How come? Palendrom 03:01, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
-
- Two reasons, mostly:
- There is essentially no need to flood individual fictional x categories when Cat:Digimon is already sorted in Cat:Fictional species
- Many articles' sorting is arbitrary and unpractical (for example, the distinction between "reptile", "dinosaur" and "dragon" digimon makes little sense in practice)
-
- See also related discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Digimon Systems Update#Fictional_X_categorie. Circeus 03:07, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
- I disagree but I'll bow to concensus and won't ad any more categories.Palendrom 03:09, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you. You are always welcome to make your case at the talk page, though. It is, frankly, a rather grey area as far as guidelines and policies are concerned. Circeus 03:34, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Top Ten character list: thanks
I wanted to say thanks for moving and expanding the Top Ten character list. I've got pictures scanned in I can upload for individual characters, and I plan on doing issue summary work as well. Thanks again for your work. Cybertooth85 04:43, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
- Hmm, right now the 49ers page is distinctly separate from the other Top Ten series, so I might keep it separate for now. Cybertooth85 06:48, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
- Just added in the pics for all the people I'd originally scanned (I'll need a few days to get the others you wrote up put up too). The sizes aren't exactly evenly matched, but I wasn't in the mood to go so anal on formatting. Let me know what you think. Cybertooth85 02:34, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
- Well, I've finished what I wanted to with the whole Top Ten series pages. Everything has a good start, and there's plenty for fans new to the series to learn from. Any improvements or future additions I leave to other editors. Cybertooth85 05:00, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Categories of Oz on DRV
My apologies for the bulk-nature of this message, but as someone who had participated in the CFD for the "X Gang of Oz" categories recently I felt that you should be notified that they were up for review here. This is not a solicitation of a specific response there (all users who participated were notified), but if you feel you have some insight I'd appreciate your comments. Thanks! [edit] Watchmen: Doctor Manhattan
An object's 'intrinsic field' (if I'm reading it correctly) is essentially the part of something that 'tells it what it's supposed to be', right? A gross oversimplification, but that's basically it?
Um...Pass? I'm not really a phyics or metaphysics expert...I did enjoy Watchmen though... Palendrom 20:43, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
- I just figured a simple(ish) explantion of what 'intrisic field' referred to in Watchmen might be a bit of help. HalfShadow 20:58, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
- Well then thank you for that. :) Palendrom 21:04, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] help us Palendrom, you're our only hope
I noticed that you had voted to keep the category of Fictional Characters by Superpower on the march 7th CFD. Just in case you didn't yet notice, Raidant!'s decision to listify them was put up for review, and another vote started on the 14th. It seems those of us in favor of keeping the categories are losing the debate, and I was hoping you could lend your voice once more so we can keep them --Piemanmoo 20:03, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Comics Articles for Deletion
One or more articles you’ve been involved in editing (Melter, Ringer (comics), Ego the Living Planet, or others) has been nominated for deletion. If you feel you can make contributions to the article to improve it and make it worth keeping, please do so. BOZ (talk) 15:23, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
