Bioinformatics Research Centre
The University of Aarhus
I have a Ph.D. degree in biology from the University of Aarhus, Institute of Biological Sciences, where I did my Ph.D. at the department of Genetics and Ecology.
Currently I’m working at the Bioinformatics Research Center located in Aarhus, Denmark.
My Ph.D. work concentrated on the primitive genera of the Attine ants - also known as fungus growing ants. I switched completely to bioinformatics and I'm working on HERVs (human endogenous retrovirsuses) and primate genetics.
In my spare time I’m enjoying my family, my house and garden. When I find time I play underwater rugby and enjoy the world of scuba diving. I’m a member of Biodyk, which is a very nice, local diving club.
