The National Society of Consulting Soil Scientists (NSCSS) is a professional organization headquartered in Washington, D. C. consisting of over 200 members in the U.S. Begun in 1987, The NSCSS is dedicated to advancing the role of the soil science within the business organization, and provides relevant professional certification.
The NSCSS awards the Registered Professional Soil Scientist (RPSS) designation in the United States. NSCSS is a member of the Soil Science Society of America.
