[edit] Paleontologist stub template
I had intended to add {{paleontologist-stub}} to an article in development about South African Paleontologist and Cave taphonomist C. K. Brain. I did not.
WikiProject Dinosaurs seems to have asserted ownership of the template. This is inappropriate: many paleontologists do not focus specifically on dinosaurs. — Athænara ✉ 14:43, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
- I agree, so I removed it. Also, none of the other Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Stub types I checked reference a WikiProject, so it's not a standard. | Pat 19:43, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

- Great, I thank you for being bold about it. — Æ. ✉ 19:53, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

- On minor pages, it's the only way to edit. I've seen reasonable suggestions languish for years on a talk page. And two qualifies as a consensus. :) | Pat 01:40, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
