[edit] Monophyly
In the 2002 article "The Palaeoptera Problem: Basal Pterygote Phylogeny Inferred from 18S and 28S rDNA Sequences" by Rasmus Hovmöller, Thomas Pape & Mari Källersjö (Abstract), molecular and morphological data indicates extant Palaeoptera to be a monophyletic grouping. Thus, this article's claim about the Odonata/Ephemeroptera/Neoptera relationship being unresolved is false. --Gunnar Mikalsen Kvifte (talk) 15:38, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
