[edit] Artist's rendition
Beyond the obvious, there are a few problems with the artist's rendition. The "horn" was in no way as obvious as in the image. This isn't Ceratogaulus. Also note that this was a burrowing animal, not an aquatic and the flattened beaver tail is also inappropriate. --Aranae 02:00, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
- A better picture would be helpful - as it looks like a hoax the way it is now. --Trödel 04:01, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
I found this website that has an impressive cross-section of Paleocastor. [1] Masa 20:49, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
- I have contacted the curator of that museum and he will provide some of the images under a cc-by-sa license (he is sending higher resolution versions) --Trödel 22:44, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
I did that image originally, and have a much better one coming up. I apologize for all of the mistakes made. By the way, what "obvious"? --KnowledgeLord 07:23, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
