The Palo Alto Daily Post is a revival of the original Palo Alto Daily News, by Daily News founders Dave Price and Jim Pavelich,[1][2] refounded after the Daily News lost its independence and moved from downtown Palo Alto to the outskirts of Menlo Park.[3] It began publication on 27 May 2008;[4] its web site, www.paloaltodailypost.com, was registered 11 May 2008 but is currently inactive. The first announced employee is fired[5] Daily News editor Diana Diamond, later a columnist at the Palo Alto Weekly. [6]
