Palmetto Beach-Grant Park are two neighborhoods within the city limits of Tampa that's combined into one census district. As of the 2000 census, the district had a combined population of 9,723.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there are 9,723 people, 3080 housing units, and 2,862 households in the district. The racial makeup of the district is 44.7% White, 44.8% African American, 0.6% Native American, 0.4% Asian and Pacific Islander, 6.3% from other races, and 3.1% from two or more races. 23.4% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
In Palmetto Beach-Grant Park, the population is spread out with 6.5% under 5 years of age; 7.5% 5 to 9 years; 14.7% 10 to 19 years; 32.5% 20 to 39 years; 25.5% 40 to 59 years; 11.4% 60 to 79 years; 1.9% over 80 years. There is a 1.13 male/female ratio in the district.
