Palmasola

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Palmasola is a "prison town" in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. It holds about 3000 prisoners. While the perimeter is guarded to keep prisoners from exiting, the guards exercise minimal control over the activities prisoners conduct within the walls. Prisoners of Palmasola have created an organization called the Disciplina to oversee some affairs. Children as well as adults are held there.
