Palma Nova is a large town in Mallorca.
Palma Nova was one of the first purpose built tourist on the island of Majorca (Mallorca). Palma Nova remains an extremely popular destination due to its suitability for families and relatively short distance to its 'livelier' neighbour Magaluf. These two developments are the largest resorts in the municipal district of Calvia, and are situated on the south west coast of the island, approximately 15km or 10 miles west of Palma, and the Son Sant Joan International airport.
Palma Nova offers some of the greatest scenery in the world from white beaches to close-by mountains to the unspoilt country side, to the nearby glorious capital city of Palma de Mallorca.
