Palliopodex verrucosus is a leaf-veined slug, an air-breathing land slug or terrestrial gastropod mollusc in the family Athoracophoridae.
This is the only species in the genus Palliopodex, in other words, Paliopodex is a monotypic genus.

This species is endemic to the Auckland Islands of New Zealand.

This species has 20 shallow lateral grooves on either side, nearly all unbranched. The papillae are very numerous, small and conical. The two tentacles are barely noticeable. There is only a vestigial internal shell, in the form of numerous small calcareous particles. The coloration is uniformly black, or yellowish-brown with a median black stripe, and bands of black streaks and spots flanking the midline on either side.
