Pallickathode, which includes the village "Anickad", is a panchayath in eastern Kottayam district, Kerala, India.

Essentially a farming Village. It has few industries and lesser connectivity remains major problem. It has a number of educational institutions to its credit which includes NSS Higher Secondary school Anickad, St.Thomas high school Anickad , 2 UP schools and One LP School. It has one Industrial Training Institute (PTCM Govt. ITI). also
