Palimbang is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Sultan Kudarat, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 43,742 people in 8,191 households.

palimbang is also a municipality which government where not give attention,particularly the political status of that place.the reason behind,why that there so many crimes where happened in that place is because of poverty and the municipal government are very corrupted.the prof is that even the municipal hall is like a jail houses.since the time of Samroud Mamansual until his last administration the number of crime where happened are exceeded.the one who create the abu sufian and the founder is the mayor of that place.he is the mastermind of Korean kidnapping.
