Pali Village
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Pali Village is a small urban village in the city of Mumbai, India (formerly Bombay). The village is located in the suburbs of Bandra West.
Pali Village consists of small cottages of Portuguese heritage. The village is surrounded by Pali Hill on the western side, 16th Road on the eastern side and Dr. Ambedkar Road.
Pali Village has always had some of the most progressive and forward looking citizens of Mumbai. For instance, when most of Mumbai did not have a drainage system, Pali Village had its own sewage and drainage system way back in 1937, built by the Bandra Municipality.
