Palani Chettipatti is a panchayat town in Theni district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is located on the road between Theni and Chinnamanur. It is famous for the Nadar saraswathi matric school which is in Muthuthevanpatti nearby.The Mullai river flows via this town from Uthamapalayam and goes down the valley.One can see a closer look at this river when standing in Mullai nagar, p.c.patti.

As of 2001 India census[1], Palani Chettipatti had a population of 11,750. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Palani Chettipatti has an average literacy rate of 75%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 80%, and female literacy is 68%. In Palani Chettipatti, 12% of the population is under 6 years of age.
