Palandri is a small town, situated in the Sudhnoti District, in Azad Kashmir, Pakistan.It was the first capital of azad state of Jammu and Kashmir.Its population is nearly 7 lac.It is a historical city as there are many forts.It is a hilly place and have natural beauty which attract the tourists.It is famous for its brave men and their attraction with knowledge.There are many great institutions which support a student morally,spirtually, and also make him fit for alla the activities like Cadet College Palandi.

It presents a ravishing scenery and alluring view to the visitors. The valley consists of numberless evergreen pine and cedar trees, transparent spring, musical water-falls and sky-high mountains. The climate is pleasant throughout the year. Temperature in summer is almost 20 to 35 °C and in winter -5 to 25 °C. In winter, one may witness the snow-fall on the nearby mountains.
