Palance Buckhannah is a fictional character from Terry Brooks' Sword of Shannara novel.
Palance is the brother of Balinor Buckhannah and son of Ruhl Buckhannah, the King of Callahorn, a region in the Southland.

While his brother Balinor Buckhannah is away on the quest to find the Sword of Shannara, Palance assumes control of the throne when his father takes ill. When Balinor returns, Palance, under the guidance of his advisor Stenmin, has his brother imprisoned along with his friends. Eventually Balinor and his companions escape and confront Palance and Stenmin, and the advisor reveals his treacherous nature by assassinating Palance before fleeing.
