Palamari (Greek: Παλαμάρι), older forms: Palamario and Palamarion, is a Greek village located around 15 km (northwest of Megalopoli, 19 km norhtwest from the nearest interchange with the GR-7/E65 (Kalamata - Megalopoli - Tripoli), about 28 km southeast of Andritsaina, about 8 km southeast of Karytaina, about 43 west-southwest of Tripoli and about 21 km southeast of Dimitsana. Palamari had a population of 43 in 2001. Pavlia is also in the municipality of Gortyna. Palamari is linked with a road linking the Karytaina-Dimitsana Road and Vangos along with its nearby village and the road to Megalopoli.

Pavlia is about 3 km northwest of the river. The mountains cover the area and the elevation reaches as about 1,000 m above sea level. The forests and farmlands are around the village and the valley, the grasslands and bushes are in the highest elevations. The area offers a view of the Lykaio mountains to the west, the mountains to the south and to the north and east.

Until the 1960s, any houses and buildings were stone-built, the village was connected with pavement in the 1980s. After World War II and the Greek Civil War, the population began to decline as residents left for larger towns and cities as well as the riches countries outside Greece. The population between the 1981 and the 1991 census saw a sharp decline but it regained by only three inhabitants in the 2001 census.
Its main production are olive and cattle along with fruits and vegetables and the land is slopey.
