Ranaghat Pal Choudhury High School (In Bengali: পাল চৌধুরী উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়) is one of the oldest schools in West Bengal and a prestigious school in Ranaghat as well as in Nadia District. It was established in the year 1853, even before Sepoy Mutiny. It is situated in the bank of river churni, around 1 kilometer away from the Railway Station. Over the years it has produced many renowned educationists, doctors, professors and engineers. But at the same time, its education system has been hampered due to retirement of some good professors. Nevertheless, this school still stands tall with its past glory and unparallel reputation.
