Patron In chief of PCB is President of Pakistan who abolished the elctoral system of appointment of chairman and started appointing his close aides one after the other as chairman, and each one leaving on charges of corruption, public condemnation. Each one adding to the declining cricketing standards of the country. Major reasons for declining standards of cricket in the country had been lack of interest by PCB in development of proper 1st class cricket infrastructure in the country and ADHOC-ism.
