Pakistan Adventist Seminary & College developed from a small Seventh-day Adventist boy's school founded in 1923. In 1937 it became a coeducational institution with the integration of the Seventh-day Adventist girls' school from Chichoki Mallian. Pakistan Adventist Seminary is located 60 km west of Lahore on Sargodha Road at Farooqabad Mandi. The institution is located on 35 acres of land.
In 1957 Pakistan Adventist Seminary started offering a 2-year Junior Seminary program. Later a senior Seminary was developed and the first graduates received their degrees in 1970. The institution now incorporates the Elementary School (class 1-8),, High School (classes 9 & 10) and College, offering 2-year, 4-year and 5-year degree in different disciplines. The present enrolment is over 400 students. The Seminary is an institution administered by the Pakistan Union which has been a part of the territory of the Trans-European Division of Seventh-day Adventist since 1985.

[edit] Accreditation
Pakistan Adventist Seminary is one of many educational institutions operated by the Seventh-day Adventist denominations throughout the world. It is accredited by the association of Seventh-day Adventist Colleges and Secondary Schools, Maryland, USA. The BTh degree is accredited by the Association for Theological Education in South East Asia (ATESEA). Graduates of Pakistan Adventist Seminary are eligible to apply to take advanced studies at sister institutions of the Association upon completion of entry requirements.
The institution is owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist denomination. It receives no government grants. The Seminary is maintained primarily to train workers for the church. The Lower and Middle Seminary, Beginning with the primary class, follow the ten-class elementary and secondary schooling system of Pakistan. The higher Seminary programs are on the tertiary level.

The purpose of the Pakistan Adventist Seminary is to train workers to serve the Church in Pakistan and beyond, as well as to prepare Christian youth for useful service to society at large. This will be achieved by equipping our students through professional and practical training and by example to represent Christ and his love to all and, in co-operation with the Holy Spirit, to lead them to salvation and service for God and their fellowmen in preparation for Christ's soon return.
[edit] PAS Overseas Alumni Association (PASOAA)
PAS Overseas Alumni Association was organized in 2005 by graduates of Pakistan Adventist Seminary & College who recently moved to Overseas including USA, UK, UAE & many other parts of the world. PASOAA exists to promote awareness, communication and interaction between overseas alumni and Pakistan Adventist Seminary & College, to unite graduates, former students, and friends of Pakistan Adventist Seminary & College for mutual benefit and to promote the welfare and advance the interests of Pakistan Adventist Seminary & College. PASOAA also stand to foster loyalty and financial support to Pakistan Adventist Seminary & College and its students.
