A paint thinner is a solvent used to thin oil-based paints, or as a cleaning agent.
Paint thinners include:
- Acetone
- Mineral spirits
- Mineral turpentine (turps)
- Wood turpentine
- Naphtha
- Toluene
- White spirit
- Xylene
