This user account is a bot operated by Verisimilus (talk).

It is not a sock puppet, but rather an automated or semi-automated account for making repetitive edits that would be extremely tedious to do manually.
Administrators: if this bot is malfunctioning or causing harm, please block it.

Records the number of times a page has been viewed in the past month, to enable editors and WikiProjects to identify the most important pages (and satisfy curiosity!)

  • Retrieve stats from squid server:

  • Store stats of page of interest on a subpage of the bot's userspace, transcluding them with {{pageviews}} or otherwise.
  • Pages to be logged are selected as those transcluding {{pageviews}}, or (say) {{WikiProject Statistics}}.
