Page the Village Idiot (b. 1966) is a Phoenix, Arizona singer-songwriter, satirist and guitar comic. He has released two studio albums[1] and one live compilation. His music industry-critical pop music parody, “This Song Sucks,” was nominated by Red Peters for Song of the Year 2007.[2] PTVI’s “Dead Rockstars” has been featured on the Dr. Demento Show.[3]

Notable for his satire of Phoenix-area political and social issues such as methamphetamine addiction, racism, consumerism and Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, PTVI also targets pop culture personalities (Nancy Kerrigan), international figures (Osama Bin Laden) and various subcultural phenomena (teenage plastic surgery).

A one-man act, Page the Village Idiot uses guitar, ukulele, a Roland MC-303 and bass pedals to parody diverse musical styles, including rockabilly, blues, electronica, industrial, punk, rap, metal, pop and folk.

"Incongruent"-ly[4], Page the Village Idiot holds a B.A. (English) from Arizona State University and an M.S. (Information Science) from the University of Arizona[5].
