==Sam Ferraro==

A tag has been placed on Sam Ferraro, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Mermaid from the Baltic Sea 22:41, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Please do not sign article contributions

Hi. I noticed you have added your signature to contributions you have made to various articles. Please do not do this - it clutters the articles and makes them difficult to read (and besides, you do not own your contributions to articles). Use signatures on discussion pages only. Thank you. ~Matticus TC 19:01, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image tagging for Image:Hammerertennis.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Hammerertennis.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 20:10, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Mario's hammer

A tag has been placed on Mario's hammer, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. [edit] Unspecified source for Image:Donk7.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Donk7.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 20:36, 25 February 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. RJASE1 Talk 20:36, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your edits to Irradiation

I'm sorry to have to tell you that you're edits to Irradiation aren't really suitable and I've had to revert them. Please see WP:Tone for an idea as to why your edits were not suitable. Also realise that your "good or bad" discussion was placed in the middle of the "applications" section, damaging the layout of the article. There was at least one factual error (alpha radiation is useless for food sterilization) and some information was repeated elsewhere in the article. I'm sorry for your shaky start with Wikipedia, but if you read the relevant style guidelines (links are at the top of your talkpage) then I think you'll soon be a lot more productive. Thanks for your patience. ----Seans Potato Business 10:22, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
