I am fascinated by the use of knowledge and the emotion discussion in this area can evoke.

Having spent most of my working life in the IT industry I have rebelled and ardently attack the view that information tools offer knowledge management. Particularly knowledge referred to as tacit knowledge. Information tools are vital, but the IT industry has sullied the term knowledge management so that it no longer means anything.

However managing knowledge is vital.
