[edit] Town / Village

It may seem perverse that in the first line I wrote "...the town Paddock Wood in Kent, England." and then a little later wrote "...after the village he had left in England.". This is actually correct, as Paddock Wood is now a town, but at the time of Mr. Pitts emigration it was only a village! -- JediLofty User | Talk 13:49, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Requested move

I created this page as Paddockwood as I was not aware of any other Paddockwoods. Bearcat changed it to Paddockwood, Saskatchewan, but I see no reason why it shouldn't just be Paddockwood.

This is a Wikipedia naming convention see this page for how all of the placenames in Saskatchewan are labelled. List of communities in Saskatchewan. See also this page Naming conventions (settlements). It will assist searchers using Wikipedia if all Saskatchewan placenames have the same format. SriMesh | talk 01:31, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
Oh, sorry. I didn't realise Saskatchewan places were treated differently. -- JediLofty User | Talk 08:22, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

I have removed the page from the suggested moves page. -- JediLofty User | Talk 10:22, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
