Talk:Padarn

Frankly, I think seven footnotes in such a brief article is perfectly sufficient. We can't run about in dismay every time some joker posts a "more references" tag. --Wetman (talk) 10:35, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
- Perhaps the number of sections gave the false impression that the article was longer? Pehaps some of them need to be merged? And where is Letia? Srnec (talk) 21:35, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
- How's that, Srnec? A redirect to Armorica: it's the same region. Perhaps occurences of Letia should be collected and worked into a short section at Armorica. Or am I being dense and missing something? --Wetman (talk) 01:59, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
- I think it's I who's missing something (namely footnote 6). If there is a significance to the use of "Letia" in preference to "Armorica" then a short section at the latter may be useful. Was it an archaism even in the Dark Ages? Dark Age authors love their archaisms... (And it looks like some information at Litavis could belong at Armorica also.) The names Padarn (Llanbadarn) and Patern are sufficiently different to confuse the non-Welsh speaking neophyte. Please emphasize the differences when merging an obvious 'doublet'. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Garhowell (talk • contribs) 17:02, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
