Paddy Flannery

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Patrick "Paddy" Flannery (born 23 July 1976 in Glasgow) is a Scottish footballer who played for Greenock Morton and later Dumbarton. After he left Strathclyde Homes Stadium he had a brief spell at Stenhousemuir before going into Junior football with Linlithgow Rose, his last known club.

At Dumbarton, despite having a decent scoring record, he was known to be criticised for his worth ethic and proved unpopular towards the end of his spell there.

Flannery was the first player to score at Strathclyde Homes Stadium in a competitive fixture, netting in 2-0 win over Elgin City back in December 2000.
