Paddy Crowley

Paddy Crowley (15 March 19322 April 2006) was an Irish soccer player who was born in Dublin.

Crowley played his youth football with Home Farm F.C. and was a league winner at Under 16, Under 17 and Under 18 levels. When he graduated to senior level, he captained Home Farm's second team to league success before leading the first team to the AUL 1st Division title. He signed for Drogheda for a year before moving to Bohemians along with team-mate Paddy Levins.

He made his debut for Bohs at left full away to Transport in February 1955. That ended in a 2-1 win for Bohs. He began the 55/56 season at Bohs before joining Ierne where he stayed for 10 years, captaining the team during that spell.

He died in Beaumount Hospital after a short illness on April 2 2006.
