Paddy Chambers

Patrick John "Paddy" Chambers (born April 30, 1944, in Liverpool, Lancashire - died 18 September 2000) was a lead guitarist/vocalist from the Merseybeat-era. With an early 1960s band of his, Steve Bennett and the Syndicate, he appeared at The 2i's Coffee Bar in 1961. He was also member of Faron's Flamingos, The Big Three, The Krew, The Eyes (with Gibson Kemp and Lewis Collins) that evolved to Paddy, Klaus and Gibson when Klaus Voormann replaced Collins. They were managed by Brian Epstein. After they had to split in May 1966, he joined The Escorts.

He died of cancer on 18 September 2000.
