Padakasti, a small village in Mulbagal Taluk, Kolar Dist. Residents of this village are mostly of farmers. Main crops are Mango, Rice,Sugar Cane, etc.

To reach Padakasti, from Bangalore. You need to take NH-4 towards east, to Mulbagal. From Mulbagal it is around 8 km.

- It has Government Primary School, still doesn't have primary health care center.
- Lush Mango farms. (private farms., talk to a farmer before getting into one)
